Exodus 35 - 36
Wednesday, 29 August 2018
by
David Klemm
Passage:
Exodus 35:1-36:38
Series:
02-Exodus
Through Moses, God commands the people to keep the Sabbath - it is a holy day. While we are no longer under the Law, do we make time for God? God then asks Moses to take an offering - from those of a willing heart! God never just takes; He receives. In return, God equips the people to have the knowledge and skill to build the Tabernacle. God also equipped the people to be able to teach others so that they can help. The people gave so much that Moses had to "restrain" the people from bring more! Are we willing to give of ourselves so that the Master can use us to do His work!?

3 John 1:1-13

Rit Varriale, Sr.
Passage:
3 John 1:1-13
Series:
64-3John
Duration:
57 mins 30 secs
Pastor Rit covers 3 John, which is a personal letter from the Apostle John to Gaius. In this letter, the Apostle John rejoices that he's heard great reports from others of Gaius' faith and his service to the Church. The Apostle John informs Gaius of another leader in the church, Diotrephes, and his evil deeds. The Apostle John ends his letter praising Demetrius for his good testimony. We see in this Epistle that the Apostle John was not slack in naming someone who is teaching heresy and harming the Church.

Exodus 34:10-35

Passage:
Exodus 34:10-35
Series:
02-Exodus
God makes a covenant with His people Israel - He "will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth" and "drive out the inhabitants of the land". God then spells out what the people must do in return. And the people see how Moses' face shone from being in the presence of God.

Passage:
2 John 1:1-13
Series:
63-2John
Duration:
1 hr 10 mins 56 secs
The Apostle John - known as the Apostle of Love - reminds Believers that "this is love, that we walk according to His commandments". The Apostle John also cautions Believers not to have any fellowship with those who teach and espouse a different doctrine. May God give the Church the strength to do all this!

Exodus 33:1 - 34:9
Wednesday, 15 August 2018
by
David Klemm
Passage:
Exodus 33:1-34:9
Series:
02-Exodus
Duration:
51 mins 42 secs
Even though Israel saw the wondrous works of God during their exodus from Egypt they still turned to idols and worshiped them. And even though God calls Israel "a stiff-necked people", He still replaces the two tablets of stone Moses broke in anger in Exodus 32. We should be so thankful that our Lord does not turn His back on us when we wander from His ways!

Exodus 32:7-35

Passage:
Exodus 32:7-35
Series:
02-Exodus
Duration:
50 mins 22 secs
The Israelists create for themselves the golden cafe and worship it. Moses pleads on behalf of the people for God not to show His wrath against them. Here we see Moses shepherding heart for the people. As Christians we too ought to be interceding for both the saved and unsaved. Are we?

Passage:
1 John 5:9-21
Series:
62-1John
Duration:
1 hr 12 mins 15 secs
As a born-again Believer we have the confidence of Eternal Life with Jesus Christ! We must make sure that we do not believe the wisdom of man over the Wisdom that it from above and also make sure we keep ourselves from idols - for they pull us away from the Will of God!

Exodus 32:1-6
Wednesday, 01 August 2018
by
David Klemm
Passage:
Exodus 32:1-6
Series:
02-Exodus
Duration:
30 mins 25 secs
We are no different than Israel as they waited for Moses to come back from meeting with God. We have seen the Lord's blessings and have even given our promise to follow His way - yet we, like the Israelites in Exodus 32, create false idols and images in our lives and worship them instead of the One True God. May we return to our Lord Jesus today and give Him all of who we are!
