Ushering is a lot more than showing someone to their seat, Ushering is a ministry. We are called to be servants to the Body and strive to have, or build men who are willing to grow in that service. Ushering is an intentional and active service, not simply a person who occupies a space during a service. We want to be more than chair police, that's the easy part. We want to engage, encourage, and edify.
